MNGS 4.0 Mobile Nitrogen Generation System

Take control of your nitrogen gas supply wherever the job takes you.

We built the MNGS 4.0 mobile nitrogen generator, so your team never has to wait on a delivery, chase down gas cylinders, or plan a job around someone else's schedule. It's a compact, Canadian-engineered mobile nitrogen generation system that generates high-purity nitrogen gas on demand: on the ramp, in the field, or at a remote industrial site: no delays, no logistics headaches, just dependable nitrogen wherever you need it.

Why Mobile Nitrogen Generation Matters

Field work stalls for one simple reason: nitrogen isn't where you need it. Bulk deliveries are expensive and unpredictable on remote or temporary sites. Gas cylinder logistics add storage challenges, safety concerns, and coordination overhead. When purging, pressure testing, leak testing, tire inflation, high-pressure cylinder filling, or gas shielding are critical to the job, that uncertainty turns into downtime you can't afford.

How would your operations change if your nitrogen gas supply moved with you? What would it mean for your team to generate exactly what you need, exactly where you need it, without depending on anyone else's schedule?

That's what the MNGS 4.0 does. It travels with your team and produces high-purity nitrogen gas on demand at the flow rate, pressure, and nitrogen purity your application requires, at a fraction of the cost of traditional supply.

What We Deliver with the MNGS 4.0

We built this fourth-generation mobile nitrogen generator around three things: independence, performance, and real-world practicality.

≥ 99% purity:

Forget about purity inconsistencies from batch deliveries. Our nitrogen generation system draws from ambient air and produces high-purity nitrogen gas at ≥99% nitrogen purity consistently, every time.

Up to 5,000 PSI outlet pressure:

Our integrated high-pressure booster, certified cylinder pack, high-pressure harness assembly, and adjustable pressure regulator handle the full range of industrial and field applications without the need for a separate nitrogen pumper.

Dual power:

We don't lock you into one power source. Run from the onboard final tier 4 diesel engine generator when you're fully remote, or connect to external hydro power when site power is available. Pre-select from 600 Volts, or 480 Volts three-phase supply to match your site requirements. You cut fuel consumption and noise on industrial and urban sites while keeping complete autonomy on isolated projects.

A best-in-class compressed air system:

At the heart of the MNGS 4.0 is an isentropically efficient compressed air system rated to 160 PSI, supported by a four-stage filtration train and high-performance air dryer. It provides clean, dry inlet air for precision nitrogen generation and can also serve additional pneumatic operations on site.

PSA nitrogen generation technology:

The MNGS 4.0 uses Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology with Snowstorm-filled Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) to separate nitrogen molecules from ambient air. Achieving superior adsorption efficiency and purity stability. This proven approach to gas separation and gas conditioning ensures consistent, reliable nitrogen purity, day after day.

One integrated system:

We combine compressed air, air treatment, PSA nitrogen generation, boosting, storage, and delivery in a single unit. Lower operating costs over the life of the asset.

Built for the extreme field conditions:

Our fully enclosed design protects equipment, controls noise, and keeps your operations running in harsh weather. Interior and panel lighting support safe work during night shifts and in low-visibility environments.

The nitrogen generator uses Snowstorm-filled Carbon Molecular Sieve (CMS) technology, chosen for its superior adsorption efficiency and purity stability. We specify components that simply run as expected, because when you're in a remote location, that reliability isn't optional.

Safety and Compliance You Can Count On

Specialty Gas Canada is a 100% Canadian-owned company. Every MNGS 4.0 mobile nitrogen generator is designed and built in Canada.

We engineer the MNGS 4.0 to meet the standards of regulated industries and Canadian requirements, including Transport Canada, CSA, TSSA, and CRN for all pressure components. It's the same rigorous approach we bring to permanent on-site nitrogen systems across food, healthcare, pharmaceutical, and manufacturing environments, now in a mobile platform.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Can we run the system on on-site power instead of diesel?

Yes, that's exactly what the dual power capability is designed for. Connect to an external hydro supply whenever site power is available, and switch back to the onboard generator when you're in the field. You can pre-select a 600-volt or 480-volt three-phase supply to match your site.

  • Is it suitable for harsh or remote Canadian environments?

The fully enclosed design, integrated lighting, and robust components are selected with remote, outdoor, and cold‑weather operation in mind.

  • Can you configure it to fit our transport and site requirements?

Yes. We can tailor the skid-mounted layout, field backpack system, and cylinder pack size and configuration to fit your fleet and site procedures.

  • What are our options for acquiring the system?

We offer outright purchase, lease, and long-term rental, whichever model fits your project mix and financial preferences. Our team will walk you through the numbers so you can make the right call.
